Key technology

High energy milling represents one of the most promising existing methods for preparation of metal hydrides for hydrogen storage materials and permits to overcome most of kinetics problems of conventional materials. This technology allows to join synthesis and structure refinement and dispersion ability (down to the nano-size) and to produce tailored materials on industrial scale. High energy milling consents to generate very fine crystals and wide extension of interphases, promoting and increasing dramatically, through the high energy collisions of milling means, the presence of a large fraction of free interstitial active sites at the grain boundaries.
